While The Rockets are seeking a first win of the league season this weekend they will take confidence from the fact that all of their three games so far have been close affairs - particularly the games against Fabplus North West (73-77) and Griffiths College Swords Thunder (62-67).

Breda Dick and Kathy McGrath have been working hard with the Rockets squad during the league's holiday break - and they are hoping to spring a few surprises on court on their opponents on Saturday!

The Meteors have been in good form - winning all of their first three Basketball Ireland Women's Division 1 games - with 20+ wins against Swords Thunder and Fabplus North West - and a much closer 77-73 win over Limerick Celtics.

This will be the first away game for the Trinity College women.

This should be a good match-up and we would love to have plenty of support at the game - particularly from the under-age girls squads (U10s /12s/ 14s/ 16s and U18s). We want our girls to see the level of play they can aspire to if they work hard at their game.

There is a £2 entry fee - but for this game - all club members and all children are FREE!
